Find the name of a person VIA cell phone number?

I have a local phone number that constantly calls me, but when I answer nothing is said and they hang up. I try to call back and I get no answer on their cell phone. This has been ongoing for about 2 weeks now – daily. My phone service provider says there is nothing they can do unless I change my phone number. Is there any way for me to find the name of who is calling me by having their number?

If you’re looking to find out exactly who is calling you then you will need to perform a cell phone number cross reference search. You can do this at ReverseCellularDirectory.com. Once you have the owner’s information, you can call you locale police department and give them the information you’ve found, along with the cell phone number and request they file a harassment complaint.

The police department will attempt to make contact with that person and tell them to cease calling your number. If the calls persist, you will be able to file harassment charges on that individual.

You do not have to change your phone number to avoid menacing phone calls.

Try blocking their number. Your cell company should be able to do that for you. If not try calling them by blocking your number and try threating them but change your voice:). You would have to make sure its from a payphone or something. Good Luck

You can ask you cell phone service provider to block the number. Also, you can filed a police report for telephone harassment. If you are curious to find out the name of the person calling, you will need to perform a cross reference search. There are many providers online and a simple search should give you quite a few options. If the number is a land line, you will be able to find free service providers. If it’s a cell phone number or the number is private, you will need to do a paid reverse number lookup. These services are relatively cheap and you can use a site like http://reversecellulardirectory.com
