Is there a way to find out the insurance company name from the policy number?
i was not at fault in this accident but my fault was i forgot to write down the company name i already feel dumb!! 
i was in an accident and when we were trading information i forgot to write down the insurance company name but i did write down the policy number & the plate number is there a way to find out these details? please help? plate # 7A77673 POLICY# 10PPA008270813

You can’t get this info but your insurance company can. Turn this into your company. This is their job and not yours anyway.

call your ins co they can handle that
Call the other guy and ask for his insurance company’s name. That’s the easiest way I can think of. There are hundreds of insurance companies, and their policies number format can change by state.
