Phone Look Up Scan

Nokia 8310 chip does not work with a virgin?

Recntly I started using the Nokia 8310, after all phones have stopped of my previous work. The first time I had, he had a chip on T-Mobile, but over time they changed to the Virgin, as she was free / cheap texts to other Virgin customers. After the insertion of a smart phone without the Virgin sucsessfully no problem, the first thing he did was tag 789 to check my Balencie but began to ring, then hung on the call. I looked on the screen and said he was in the network of T-Mobile. After taking a look at the source selection parameter i Network phone, changed the manual automatic option. After scanning power only four existing T-Mobile, O2, Orange and Vodafone, which obviously I am not in any of them and I scanned a few times but nothing. So my question is the phone can connect to the network Virgin and how? It is true that I think of buying a new phone or change the network soon. BTW is not locked to T-Mobile and Orange chip operates the phone

I think the phone is locked. Where did the network find, you said it has seen T-Mobile, O2, Orange and Vodafone – it seems that the phone was to read what the frequency is available, but – not equipped to use them. you bought the phone here in the U.S.? If yes, there is a good chance it is blocked because it is the way it is done here. If your phone is unlocked – That: "Virgin Mobile" – or any other chip you use.
