*Soft Spoken Roleplay* Calling customer service for digital cable. (ASMR?)

*READ ME PLEASE* Okay, so this may seem a little weird to some of you; I personally find setting up accounts and such over the phone very relaxing, answering questions and whatnot. I’ve (unfortunately) worked at two call centers; once I was selling stuff (YUCK! Nightmare!) but the other time I was a CSR for Bell ExpressVu satellites (something to do with Smart Cards or … something? It was 3 years ago, I forget!). So this was inspired both by that and listening to my stepdad call and set up cable for my grandmother the other day :) Let me know what you think! And yes – that is my REAL customer-voice, sadly LOL! I’m like a sugary-sweet chipmunk. This is NOT how I speak normally! Pinky- promise :) Also – I can’t afford cable and am currently without ANY TV CHANNELS AT ALL. If I didn’t have internet, I’d lose my mind! I have Facebook now! I’d love to connect with everyone :) www.facebook.com Funfacts: My ‘employee number’ is my anniversary :) (02/23/09) My customer’s first name is my stepdad’s, middle name is my boyfriend’s, and last name is a friend of mine who is lucky enough not to have a filthy, common “MacSomething” name which are so common where I live (I have one :( ). Animation free from directorzone.cyberlink.com for my PowerDirector 9 software.

I liked this! Haha I also like how you call it your “customer voice”. I’ve been working in customer service for over 6 years and have developed the lamest customer voice. I hate it but it just magically appears every time I talk to a customer. It’s so high pitched and overly sweet lol. My friends always joke with me about it :P

@WhisperMeLovely I’m glad you liked it! And I’m more glad you have ‘the voice’ too LOL! A friend of mine works at the movie theatre and I went the other day and he waited on me, and he was like, “HI WHAT CAN I GET FO- *voice changes dramatically* man, sorry about that! Customer mode!” hahahahahaha :)

@sidneybabes4u2 At least there was no hold music, right ;) ? hahaha. Nothing worse than waiting for like 2 hours to get through!

Woo, Canadian channels! Also, with my new digital cable, I’ll still be able to watch after the switch from analogue (as my real-life tv keeps reminding me over and over and over) ;) Great vid!

@mulledmurmurs I have NOTHING! Nothing! I have to find streaming channels to watch Big Brother! Luckily, I watch 99.9% of shows I like on DVD, but most days I’m off I’m so bored I’ll walk 2km to my parents’ to just to watch TV! They have digital and their DVR is always loaded with awesomeness (and a lot of weird shows about pawn shops… my whole fam is hooked on pawn stars and American Pickers and stuff LOL!). But yeah, the black background, white text of “THIS CHANNEL IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE”

@ShiverySounds I feel your pain; I have no tv while at university, and I have to stream anything I want to watch. Pawn Stars and such shows are very addictive!

nice vid, i think it may have worked a little better if you’d spoken more softly, keep up your good work.

@randomuploadsism Oh I totally agree, I have nooooo indoor voice unless I’m whispering (I’m partially deaf in both ears so I am LOUD!), but I’m going to work on that for my next one, I promise :) Glad you liked it anyway <3

I really liked this, barring one thing. I work in a call centre & your phonetic alphabet was just insane (maybe I’ve worked there too long if it’s bothering me in a video like this).

@MikeCLG No it’s definitely completely wrong and insane LOL you’re not losing it!
