What all mobile phones GPS chip in them for E911?
OK, I understand that some phones have a navigation capability GPS and I know that they have a GPS chip in them. But someone told me that all new mobile phones have a GPS tracking chip in them (if say or not) it only applies to E911, where emergency workers are trying to locate a person in danger and must be activated by them. And it will not work for navigation and user manuals do not mention it. Is this true? Also, if someone is in a car crash in a ditch some hand and you call 911, they could have put a GPS in the phone number and trace the phone this way, even if the phone not really a GPS chip in it? So I'm very confused now, who is here?
