If I give my credit card over the phone and the person you give it to enter my information down and make a shopping trip what is going to happen. Yes, of course, can and will do if the thief is stupid enough to have the items delivered your own home or a friend's house, etc. As for the frequency with which they are treated, do not know – but I guess it's me that if the flight is less than a certain amount, it is likely easier for the credit card company and others to cancel the monitoring.
